The Little Prince: let's take care of the environment in which we live!” 2023/25

This project wants to develop activities starting from the reading and understanding of the book "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The book tells a story of love and friendship, but which certainly includes other topics of great value and relevance such as those related to the respect for the environment and for our planet. Students will analyze the main environmental and social changes that have characterized our planet in recent years, focusing on the most urgent and important problems (deforestation, animal extinction, climate change, etc.) and reflecting on possible solutions to safeguard the earth and future generations. We also want our students to be able to communicate using ICT tools and we will use English as a common language to establish communication, improve confidence with foreign languages.

Curipod CLIL lesson "Pollution - Causes and Solutions"

Today, the 6th grade students of the 20th Primary School of Kalamaria, Greece worked in the computer lab. The students saw the two introductory videos of page 2. with Mrs Stergiani and then worked on the curipod lesson with Mrs Agoritsa, the subject teacher and school principal, on the CLIL lesson "Pollution - Causes and Solutions".

The students enjoyed very much the interactive curipod lesson, they found the videos very interesting, they revised what they already knew and added new information and knowledge to their already existing knowledge about pollution.

Working in progress...

The Italian Team has finished all the first activities!!! The students did a great job rewriting "The Little Prince" from an environmental perspective. Yesterday the Italian team voted in the international logo competition and started the second activity. Go on!!!

Welcome everyone!

I am so happy to start this eTwinning project where it is also possible to meet in person. It is a great opportunity for all of us and especially for our students who can get to know other countries, other cultures and above all work together for a better future. Good job everyone!!!
