Let's Explore the World of Technology

The main idea of this project is to ensure that students understand the new emerging technologies such as IoT, AI and ML,their potential and risks and explore new ideas on how technology can be used for Good and reaching the Global Goals. There has been a shift in the ways students work, learn and communicate,as new technologies have infiltrated and transformed life in the 21st century, leading us to the 4th Industrial Revolution.Learning to code and developing computational thinking skills helps students make sense of the rapidly changing world. We will introduce students to a coding tool Scratch, the BBC micro:bit and some robotic kits.By learning to code students will learn strategies for solving problems and designing projects.Students will create own projects and work on the collaborative tasks with peers from other countries.By learning and thinking about the possibilities of technology and the safe use of Internet students should adopt habits for safe and positive use of technology.
