Let’s Dive into the BLUE!

We want to concern students about the global situation we live in, focusing on the environment, specifically on water. Our countries share the same water (Mediterranean sea) and it would be interesting to compare each other’s awareness about the issue and how people take action on preserving their water resources. AIMS: • Enhance students and teachers’ understanding of sea literacy and its significance in our life and STEAM education.• Gain the tools and knowledge to bring sea-related topics into your classroom.• Explore innovative teaching methodologies like project-based learning and open schooling.• Develop Learning Scenarios and activities that can be converted into impactful blue school local projects.• Raise awareness about the importance of keeping water clean and protecting / recycling / reusing. EXPECTED RESULTS: • Producing effective ideas/apps/materials that can be used locally in partners’ areas to help keep water clean and recycle/reuse it.• Creation of a virtual aquarium by using digital and AI tools.• Implementation of AI activities for the classroom.• Understanding of the benefits of AI by students.• Work towards achieving a European Blue School certification.

Teaching English with our project story

Dear Partners, today we had our last project lesson and we decided to use our story and prepare a simple memory game for our kindergarten children. We used all the animals' names that appeared in our common story about water protection and we prepared a memory game - both versions - digital and paper ones.
