GREEN THRIVE Project: Schools Growing Eco-Consciousness

The project is a transformative and innovative initiative that cultivates international students as proactive agents of change and mobilizes them to become catalysts for environmental stewardship. Through audits, research, and visits to local institutions, learners address and confront critical sustainability challenges (water, energy, paper, waste) within their school communities. Leveraging English, the participants develop their digital literacy skills by creating an e-book and a practical eco-habit calendar. They spearhead and orchestrate a school-wide "Green Day" to disseminate their knowledge and inspire action. This project demonstrates and exemplifies the power of student-led collaboration and the transformative power of international teamwork, amplifying their impact by sharing knowledge within the school and with neighboring local schools, creating a ripple effect of change and fostering a culture of sustainability.
