Online meeting at the Folk Museum: March 21
On Friday, 21st March 2025 the students of the Primary School of Anyfi, Greece had the opportunity to visit the Vasilis Papantoniou Foundation, where they explored the rich tradition of Greek costumes. As part of our eTwinning project, we held a video call with our partners from Greece, Turkey, and Romania to share what we learned.
During the call, we presented the colors and patterns of Greek traditional costumes and discussed how each region has its own unique attire. We explored the differences between bridal and everyday clothing, examined the various parts of the costumes, and talked about the loom and the fabric-making process.
You can find out more about the museum here, as well as play games and virtually browse the collection of Greek traditional costumes.
This experience strengthened our collaboration and deepened our understanding of both Greek traditions and the cultures of our eTwinning partners!

We held an exhibition of traditional costumes at this meeting, and it was a fascinating purpose as there are costumes in museums. My students loved this segment. The music was taken from the song "Bilad Al Gharb Awtaani" (Western Countries Are My Homelands).
