The "Future Scientists" initiative is an educational initiative aims at fostering scientific thinking and practical exploration among students. This initiative organizes a series of simple and exciting scientific experiments that students can carry out themselves under the supervision of their teacher.
The initiative begins with the establishment of a "Science Station" in the school, which is a dedicated corner equipped with basic scientific tools and materials. Initially, students receive training on the concept of leadership through activities that lead to their understanding of what makes a good leader and the importance of teamwork and task integration for successful outcomes. The students are then divided into small groups, and each week a different scientific topic is chosen. The students work in their groups to conduct an experiment related to the chosen topic.
After completing the experiment, each team presents their findings to the rest of the class, with a focus on asking questions and analyzing results. This activity enhances collaboration among students and helps them develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The initiative also includes virtual visits to scientific laboratories and online science museums, as well as meetings with scientists and academics via the internet, to inspire students and encourage them to consider science as a potential future career path.
At the end of the initiative, a science fair is organized where students showcase their scientific experiments and research projects to the school and parents.
