Eco-Innovators for Sustainability

"Eco-Innovators for Sustainability" is an eTwinning project that empowers students to design eco-friendly inventions addressing environmental challenges through coding, technology, big data, and math integration. Over three months, students collaborate across borders to develop sustainable solutions, enhancing their creativity, problem-solving, STEM, and mathematical skills while promoting eco-conscious living. The project fosters reconnection with nature, healthy habits, and responsible citizenship. Steps include project planning, team formation, research, idea development, prototyping with mathematical modeling, testing, final presentations, and a patenting process. Through this initiative, students not only create unique, patentable inventions but also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming for a more sustainable future.

Today, we held the final in-person dissemination event with our students

Pinned

As part of the final assessment for our eTwinning project "Eco-Innovators", students played a Kahoot quiz to reflect on what they enjoyed most and least, and what they learned throughout the project. This interactive activity allowed them to express their opinions in a fun and engaging way. In addition, they were asked to complete a feedback form to provide more personal reflections on their experience. The event took place in the presence of our valued partners, making it a meaningful moment of celebration and evaluation. It highlighted the students’ growth in environmental awareness, teamwork, creativity, and digital skills.

Project Update – EDUCABOT Design Session (Visual Arts)

As part of the EDUCABOT project, pupils took part in a creative visual arts session dedicated to designing the external appearance of the educational robot. The activity encouraged learners to express their artistic vision freely while considering the functional and aesthetic aspects of the robot. The designs produced will inspire the final prototype and reflect the students' unique

AI Supported MoMOBİLE APPLİCATION DATA COMPLETED THE TASK-1/ MUSTAFA BÜLBÜL SECONDARY SCHOOL-TURKEY

Mustafa Bülbül Middle School Students completed their AI Supported Mobile Application Data tasks.

The task stages are as follows.

Stage-1: We identified 4 bird species native to the central Anatolian region in Türkiye.

  1. Buteo rufines(Red hawk)
  2. Steppe eagle (Aquila nipalensis)
  3. Toy (Otis tarta)
  4. Wagtail (Oenanthe oenanthe)

Stage-2: Students collected 50 images of these 4 types from iStock sites.https://ebird.org/home and https://www.istockphoto.com/

Stage -3: Students uploaded the pictures to their Google Drive folder and made a list using Google Sheets.
