Diversity and Inclusion

There are minority students in all schools. In some, they are a few, in others, the percentage can reach 90%. Ethnic minority children, especially of Roma, face specific challenges, including marginalization, language, and cultural barriers, and poverty. They often leave school early or have bad exam results. It is important to understand that there are reasons for their poor participation or performance. We believe that students from ethnic minority groups create a diverse community that may enhance the educational experience of all. With this project, we will celebrate differences and try to respond to the needs of our minority group students and support their learning experience. At the same time, we will help our students to come closer to different cultures, become more tolerant, develop knowledge and understanding of diversity, form attitudes and behavior based on respect for human rights and equality, as well as promote civic and democratic values.
