Biodiversity - a legacy to protect

What is biodiversity? Why is it important and why should we protect biodiversity? How can we protect biodiversity?

These were some of the questions our students tried to answer while creating this collaborative video.

Project's dissemination | Parents' meeting - April

On April 15th, Carolina F. and Carolina V. presented what we've been working on the eTwinning project to the parents. This was the second meeting where volunteer students had the opportunity to disseminate the project. Once again, the parents gave us a very positive feedback on the project work.

Congratulations Carolina F. and Carolina V. for the great presentation!

Celebrating Earth Day: Students's Voices for a Greener Future

On April 22nd, students  came together for an online meeting to celebrate Earth Day. The gathering aimed to amplify students' voices regarding their role in creating a better world and a cleaner environment. During this interactive session, the students shared their ideas on how to improve the environment around them. They were encouraged to collaboratively find solutions to combat pollution—whether on an individual level, within their communities, or through policy changes.

A key focus of the meeting was on reducing plastic waste and exploring alternatives to single-use plastics. The students discussed innovative ways to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainability.

The event was a resounding success, demonstrating the power of youth in addressing environmental issues. By sharing their unique perspectives and engaging in meaningful dialogue, the students paved the way for a greener future. The online meeting not only inspired them but also fostered a sense of unity and shared responsibility among the participating schools.

Through these kinds of collaborative events, students can make a tangible impact and work together to create positive change for the environment.

Biodiversity loss | AENG PT

We learned about the importance of biodiversity, explained by Sir David Attenborough. We shared our research about causes and consequences of biodiversity loss, and discovered the protected areas that exist in our country. We also collaborated on creating a video. We are looking forward to seeing the final result.

Exploring Biodiversity Loss: In Germany Students Dive into Global Issues

Our students enthusiastically delved into the complex world of biodiversity loss, a significant aspect of our English curriculum that illuminates one of the adverse effects of globalization. Engaging in thought-provoking discussions, our students have not only sharpened their abilities to express opinions but also demonstrated their dedication to figuring out what causes biodiversity loss, what happens because of it, and how everyone can help.
