Our mission was completed: Εrasmus+/e-Twinning Mobility in Latina, Italy

Pinned

With great enthusiasm, the Erasmus+/e-Twinning teams from Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Sweden successfully completed their educational mobility in Latina, Italy, from May 5th to 10th, 2025. The journey began with delegates' arrivals at Italy's airport.

In Latina, the groups were warmly welcomed at "LICEO SCIENTIFICO STATALE "E.MAJORANA" where they participated in a series of educational activities, including school presentations prepared by students and lab activities related to ‘Algae Biotec 2030’, fostering interdisciplinary connections. Meanwhile, teachers attended a CLIL workshop focusing on lesson plan creation, facilitated by experts from our Education Department.

Notable highlights of our mobility included visits to the Fogliano Lake, the Ninfa Gardens, the Sermoneta town and the stunning Colloseum at Rome.

This Erasmus+ mobility provided a valuable opportunity for both students and teachers to explore the Italian culture, forge international friendships, and enhance their collaborative skills. The 4th Gymnasio of Preveza looks forward to welcoming their partners in October 2025 and continuing their successful Erasmus+ cooperation.

Sweden

On the first day we arrived at the Larnaca Airport. Then we got a Taxi and went to the Hotel where the teachers were sleeping and our host familys picked us up. We went home with them and went to sleep because it was late and we were tired after the long day. The next day we went to school and got to see their culture. The next few days we went on trips with a bus. We went to museums and other historical places like theatres and the Capital City. On the last day we went home.

Update from Sweden

We were all very excited to be part of this project. The journey was very long. We traveled almost a whole day. When we finally arrived at Cyprys, we were all very tired. But when we got to our host families, it felt good and safe.

The next day we all had a lot of energy and we were all excited to start this journey. We all came to the school early in the morning and we got to experience their culture and see how they are at school and what they eat. The school was very different from the Swedish school but in a very positive way. There was lots of dancing, laughter and playing. We all thought it was fun to see how other people in the world are doing and how they live. Now we will write some updates from current Sweden.

Spring has finally arrived here in Sweden 2 days ago it was 18 degrees celsius which is very hot for Sweden. Now it is almost a year until you come to us here in Sweden and we are really excited for your arrival in April next year. We are going to show you the best places in Stockholm. Hopefully our Amusement park called Gröna Lund will be open so we can visit it.

Hope that you all looking forward to see us in Sweden.

From us all.
