This project includes research teaching based on the topic of Orient Express. Target group is elementary school pupils. The project domain is the Orient Express route. First two participants are schools from Croatia and the Netherlands but our long term goal is to involve more schools on the route. Pupils learn about the fundamental values of modern democratic society: respecting human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law become aware of their national identity and different cultures that build the European Community Through various activities ( scavenger hunt, language workshops, research groups, social skills activities ) pupils learn to use multimedia and ICT. They learn about different cultures, they accept and understand diversity, develop communication skills and build personality.
