This Erasmus project unites 12-year-old students from lower secondary schools in Caselette, Italy, and Denizli, Turkey, fostering cultural exploration and international connections. It aims to broaden horizons for small local communities, enabling students to develop skills necessary for active participation and intercultural understanding. Throughout the year, students from both countries will embark on a virtual journey, narrating their local territories through digital exploration of their cultural heritage, traditional recipes, art, and natural heritage.The project will be further enriched by an Erasmus group mobility program, allowing students from both countries to visit each other's territories and attend a week of school in their partner country. This immersive experience will enable participants to directly experience an even stronger personal connection with their international peers. Through the use of digital platforms, students will engage in interactive activities, and shared projects that highlight both the unique aspects of their respective cultures and the commonalities they share. This digital bridge not only facilitates cross-cultural dialogue but also helps participants discover shared values and common historical influences, revealing the interconnectedness of our global community. By exploring these links, both virtually and in person, students will develop a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity while recognizing the universal experiences that unite us all.
