CHEEP "Cooking Healthy European Paths"

The project aims at rediscovery traditional local dishes and recipes, redesigning them with a modern healthier vision taking into consideration people with special dietary needs. In particular, the project will focus on three particularly frequent topics: OBESITY, DIABETES and COELIAC DISEASE. 1) Students will make a "cultural heritage" research to find the recipes which best represent their local traditions and products 2) They will modify them using alternative ingredients to make them suitable for the three areas developed by the project 3) They will share them with students of other countries presenting the traditional version and the new one underlining the ingredients used 4) They will create a book divided into three sections (OBESITY, DIABETES and COELIAC DISEASE) in which all the recipes will be collected.
