Calling for peace - Wołanie o pokój

We sang a Ukraine Lullaby to give the message that all human beings are born equal and  they all deserve to live in peace. This video is from an eTwinning organisation held in our city. 

Dear partners,

I am happy to announce that we have presented our project in an eTwinning organisation in our city and caught attention. I and my students are very glad to take part in this project. We always follow the saying by Atatürk "Peace in the country, peave in the world!"

Dear project partners,

for the moment the war begin I knew it was something that definitely could not pass by without talking about that with my pupils. As the war started, they started making questions, which almost always started with ''WHY''. Since I had no answer to those questions, I knew we had to do anything that is in our power to make the world better place and to help Ukraine. Even though we know our contribution is very little, we hope that it will make a difference.

We took our time to make Ukrainian wreaths (we made those of paper and cloth) so we can exhibit those when we make the fundraising. Many other classes joined our cause and we made a lot of wreaths and other decorations. The money was collected in a appropriately decorated sealed box. The fundraising took place for three days. By the end of the fundraising, with a little help of our ''School professional service'', children counted the money that was raised and gave the money to the accountant to pay that money to Caritas: Urgent actions in the world - Ukraine. 

We hope and pray for Ukraine and for people that suffer in this war. We pray for peace and cross our fingers that this nonsense will finally stop and the world will know peace.

Radości nie było końca…! Taki SMS otrzymaliśmy od Pani Sylwi, która pomogła nam dostarczyć zakupione pomoce szkolne dla dziewczynki z Ukrainy.

To nasza pierwsza pomoc w ramach akcji „Pomagamy jak umiemy”. Za uzbierane pieniądze z wielkanocnego kiermaszu kupujemy niepełnosprawnych dzieciom z Ukrainy niezbędne akcesoria szkolne. Margerita, była zaskoczona i szczęśliwa. Dobro powraca! Pozdrawiamy naszą nową koleżankę i jej rodziców.
