In this project we discussed about the foldscope, a cheap paper microscope that was distributed to poor countries with drought and clear water and sanitation problems. The foldscope was an invention that hepled these people find clear drinkable water and put a limit to diseases through unsuitable water drinking.

Drinkable water and sanitation, one of the most important goals of sustainable development, so important for keeping life and putting an end to diseases like cholera and embola, was one of our main subjects during this project.

We also discussed about water and air pollution (in chemistry and biology),bioaccumulation, eutrophication and about sustaining the under water life as one more goal of the sustainable development.

Furhtermore we discussed microplastics, especially in the mediterranean sea and how they find their way in our food chain.

Microcosm can be really dangerous if we let it.

We all agreed to change habbits and support initiatives about keeping our seas and beaches clean from microplastics!
