In order to encourage you to contribute to our monthly activities, we will have a ''Best contributors'' page where you can introduce yourself to the group and showcase your current eTwinning project or one of your previous successful experiences. This would be a great way for you to promote your work on a larger scale, since this is a European featured group.  In fact, amongst the upcoming events there is a European eTwinning webinar scheduled on the 4th of March where I will present our group, spotlighting its best contributors. Thank you Maria Garapa from Portugal fo breaking the ice!

Hello and updates

Hello dear members,

I'm Anca, I will be moderating this group starting this month, February 2025. I would like this group to be a cosy open space where teachers can share their ideas, but also their worries and problems, so that we can learn from each other and grow together. I'm very respectful of your time and work, so I will try to post interesting and practical resources and, of course, I will always take into consideration your suggestions and needs.

For starters, I've re-organised the content and created 2 new pages for the 2025 Calendar: the first page where I would like you to contribute is an interactive discussion called ''Challenges and strengths of small and remote schools''. The second one is meant to help us co-create a colllaborative resouce, a short guide on how to make our eTwinning profile more efficient for partner finding.

I am looking forward to reading your comments and discovering our community.

I would like us to be in touch more easily, that is why I am thinking about creating a Newsletter that would be posted every 2 months. If you want to receive this Newsletter, please fill in the following opt-in form:

Thank you!

We’re excited to kick off this year with a very special celebration, as 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of eTwinning!

This milestone is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all that we have accomplished together and to celebrate the incredible achievements we’ve made as a community.

We encourage you to begin the celebrations in your schools and local communities, spreading the joy and enthusiasm of eTwinning far and wide. Please share the special moments and photos of your celebrations with us, on social media you can use #eTwinning20 —we’d love to see how you’re marking this remarkable occasion!

Feel free to use the materials below to help bring your celebrations to life. Let’s make this anniversary a truly unforgettable one, filled with happiness, collaboration, and a sense of pride in all we’ve achieved together!

Looking forward to celebrating with you all!

Additionally, we released a podcast dedicated to the anniversary last Friday, January 10th. You can find it here:

A journey into eTwinning stories

This year, we organised a series of online events to highlight the stories from the eTwinning community. eTwinners shared valuable insights from their teaching practice, including strategies to empower teachers, challenges they’ve overcome in their careers, and resources that have shaped their educational paths.

Call for eTwinning featured groups moderators

In 2025 we'll be launching some new featured groups on the platform. These communities of practice cover key topics and aim to inspire collaboration, innovation, and professional exchange within the eTwinning community. We’re looking for enthusiastic eTwinners interested in moderating these groups and contributing to their success.
