Inclusive Education

The "Inclusive Education" eTwinning featured group serves as a collaborative platform for educators and stakeholders committed to fostering inclusive educational practices. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of eTwinning, this group will focus on what unites us as educators and the shared goal of creating inclusive educational environments. We will share resources, experiences, and strategies that promote the principles of inclusion and diversity in education, aligning with the profiles of pupils with fewer opportunities outlined in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Inclusion and Diversity Strategy. The group will be relaunched and moderated by Mª Cecilia Cantizano Mariscal, who will guide discussions and activities. By participating in this group, members will contribute to a shared mission of creating equitable and inclusive learning environments throughout Europe, while celebrating the unifying spirit of eTwinning's 20th anniversary.

COFFEE BREAK!

1

Dear Inclusive Education Group Members,

I want to extend a warm invitation to our upcoming coffee break on 11th February at 16:00 (CET).

This will be our first opportunity to connect face-to-face following our remote introductions. We will review the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Inclusion and Diversity Strategy. We will also discuss how this strategy can serve as a guide for enhancing inclusivity in our classrooms and eTwinning projects.

Additionally, we will introduce our designated network activity for March, which is centred on students with fewer opportunities. This includes those who face barriers that hinder their access to education and resources, such as economic disadvantage, geographic isolation, cultural and linguistic barriers, disabilities, social and emotional challenges, and lack of support networks, including migrants.

I've included the link to the meeting below. The session will be recorded and available on our Inclusive Education site on the European School Education Platform.

I hope to see as many of you as possible. I'm looking forward to our talk!

Best regards,
Cecilia Cantizano
