The course Coping with Changes: Social-Emotional Learning Through Play has been developed by the LEGO Foundation and is aimed primarily for teachers and primary carers of young people.

In this course, the participants will gain information about the practical and emotional difficulties children face especially when rapid transitions and changes happen. The course will help understand how crises could affect a child’s long-term social, emotional and cognitive growth.

The participants will learn practical skills like demonstrating mitigation strategies, applying strategies to collaborate with other adults, applying social-emotional learning through play in practice and applying stress-relieving techniques like mindfulness.

The self-paced course has nine modules including videos, exercises and discussions.
