Unlocking the power of digital competencies: a course series for teachers

The course series is built around the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu) and is made up of six courses, each corresponding to one of the six competency areas in the framework.
Each course contains four modules and is designed to align with real-life experiences. Throughout each module, participants will explore real-life case studies to understand how educators can excel in the contexts of digital and blended learning. The learning objectives are aligned with the B2 proficiency statements as identified in the SELFIE for TEACHERS toolkit.
Participants will:
- learn about using and creating digital resources responsibly,
- design learner-centred experiences supported by technology, and
- engage in digital professional collaboration activities.
Also, this series aims to enhance assessment practices and boost digital competencies to create inclusive, personalised learning experiences that inspire, motivate and engage pupils.
To provide flexibility, the courses employ a self-paced format, enabling participants to explore the content and complete the activities at their own pace, whenever it suits them best.
Course certificates are awarded twice a year, after successful completion of a mandatory quiz and a peer assessment activity. All course content and activities are available in English.
Enrol now to the self-paced courses:

The course series also contributes to the European scheme for recognition of teachers’ digital competencies, which certifies teachers’ digital competencies based on evidence from eTwinning projects and this MOOC series.
