The eTwinning Plus family is growing, please welcome the seventh and newest member - Jordan

The relationship between the European Union and Jordan started back in 2002 and since then, many mutually beneficial initiatives have taken place.
Education especially, is a sector where this long-standing relationship is thriving. The successful participation of Jordan in the Erasmus+ programme in the higher education illustrates the quality, but also the values on which this relationship of trust has been built.
To strengthen this relationship, as of February 2018 Jordan has become the newest country involved in eTwinning Plus.
In 2012, eTwinning Plus was launched as a project to provide a platform for schools from countries from Europe’s immediate neighbourhood, to link with schools participating in eTwinning.
Teachers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, part of the Eastern Partnership and Tunisia, part of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership have been actively involved in the eTwinning community.
Teachers in Jordan, which is part of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership, can now register in eTwinning Plus, take part in projects, enrol in the different Continuing Professional Development opportunities and enjoy the full eTwinning Plus experience.
Watch below a video where, Tala Sweis the Director of Madrasati, a Queen Rania Al Abdullah education initiative, the eTwinning Plus Partner Support Agency for Jordan; Jacob Arts, Attaché – Programme Manager for Education and Youth, delegation of the European Union to Jordan, and Michael Teutsch Head of Unit Schools and Multilingualism, Directorate General Education Youth, Sport, and Culture, talk about Jordan joining eTwinning Plus.
We welcome Jordan to eTwinning Plus and look forward to seeing many eTwinning projects involving our new partner.
