The anticipation of eTwinning day kicked off on 2 May with a community countdown to a special surprise on 9 May. Every day, eTwinners found a new post on social media where they could learn interesting facts about eTwinning and explore the annual theme of ‘Wellbeing at school’. They also had the opportunity to share some of their favourite memories as eTwinners and ideas on how they would celebrate eTwinning day with the community.

On 9 May, it was time to turn the spotlight on eTwinners and cherish the community spirit with a special post: a video in which eTwinning ambassadors shared the significance of eTwinning to them.

But this was not all! The post kicked off an eTwinning challenge, which is still ongoing and encourages eTwinners to join in with celebrating the community. How does the challenge work? Simply reply to the question: ‘What does eTwinning mean to you?’ in the comments of our posts on Facebook, Instagram and X, or post a video with the hashtag #eTwinningday24 and tag another eTwinner to keep the challenge going.

Last but not least, eTwinners can still join in the challenge and celebrate eTwinning day through the annual theme group and May’s community activity. There they can also post videos or comments about what eTwinning means to them, plus other activities.

We are delighted to see so many eTwinners sharing their love, support and excitement with the community by posting celebration videos, posters, photos and comments with the hashtag #eTwinningday24.

Let’s keep celebrating the community together!
