The Adult Education Institution Dante was founded in 1991 as a school of foreign languages. Since 2007, it has been verified and publicly recognised as an adult education institution. Today, Dante is a competitive, modern and efficient institution that offers language learning programmes including Italian, English and German as a second language, Croatian for foreigners, high school programmes, vocational education and training, as well as retraining programmes.
Our training courses are tailored to be funded by the Erasmus+ Program. Our institution offers participants the opportunity to improve their skills through KA1 projects aimed at student mobility and staff mobility.
With extensive experience in international cooperation, Dante has been engaged in European projects since 2009, participating in programs such as the Lifelong Learning Program, Erasmus+ (KA1, KA2, KA3 projects), Europe for Citizens, and the European Social Fund. Our institution has also been a member of the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) since 2017. In the fields of adult education, vocational education and training, and school education Dante has been awarded the 2020 Erasmus accreditation for the period 2021-2027. In the external evaluation process conducted in 2023, the Agency for Vocational Education and Training awarded Dante a high level of quality based on national standards.
