Nicolaus-Cusanus-Gymnasium (NCG) is a public secondary school in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. We educate approximately 700 students from grades 5 to 13, leading to the Abitur qualification. With a team of around 70 educators, we strive to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment that prepares students for academic success and responsible citizenship in an interconnected world.
We are committed to comprehensive and inclusive education, offering a broad curriculum that includes languages such as English, French, Latin, Spanish, and Russian, alongside a strong focus on STEM disciplines.
Beyond academics, we encourage extracurricular engagement through a variety of activities, particularly in music, with ensembles such as the Big Band, Choir, and School Band, as well as creative opportunities in literature and performing arts. As part of the "Schule ohne Rassismus – Schule mit Courage" initiative, we actively promote a culture of respect, diversity, and social responsibility.
As an accredited Erasmus+ institution, we are committed to international collaboration. We actively participate in European projects, fostering cultural exchange and cooperation with partner schools across the continent. Through eTwinning and Erasmus+, we aim to connect with international partners, broaden our students’ global perspectives, and promote innovative learning experiences.
