My name is Calliope (Poppy)Zaraka and I have been teaching English for twenty-eight years and the last 29 years in secondary education on the island of Cos-Greece. Since 2020,I have been working in the general Lyceum of a small village called Zipari where I am also the Deputy Principal.
I have taken part in many projects: e-twinning ,Comenius,Youth and Erasmus+. I like travelling, meeting new people and cultures.I am available for Erasmus+ projects. I speak mainly Greek and English but also Italian, German and Turkish as a beginner.
In my free time , I like swimming, reading literature and history books, watching films and documentaries, solving cosswords, walking. I also taking part in various activities like organising school campaigns and national as well as international projects.
Last year I participated in a KA122 project about inclusion and was trained in Iceland for a week on Special Needs Education. It was a wonderful experience. This year(2023-2024) ,I am taking part in three e- twinning projects about online dictionary creation, chemistry in English and for elimination of stereotypes and well being of students at school.
