I was born in Borba da Montanha, Celorico de Bastos, District of Braga, Portugal. This is a remote village in the middle of the mountains. Its origins are remote, having here passed many peoples and cultures that have left their marks and traces. It's history is closely linked to the one of its castle. My parents then moved to Johannesburg, South Africa where we've lived for some years. I returned to Portugal in 1975. I graduated in 1992 and then went to Italy where I've lived till 1995. Got married to a amazing person and have 2 marvellous daughters. At present, I live in Aveiro, a very beautiful city by the sea and teach in Agrupamento de Escolas de Oliveirinha, in Aveiro, Portugal.
While I was studying in high school and later in university, I worked as a tourist guide. I visited many cities and countries. My hobbies are travelling, photography, and being in contact with nature - I love trekking, riding my bicycle, wondering about ...
I learnt to love technology some years ago and use them frequently in my classes. I also became very interested in issues related to environment. I have a passion for teaching this platform helped me a lot to be creative.

Nasci em Borba da Montanha, Celorico de Bastos, distrito de Braga, Portugal. Esta é uma aldeia remota no meio das montanhas. Suas origens remontam a muitos povos e culturas que aqui deixaram suas marcas e traços. A história está intimamente ligada à do seu castelo. Os meus pais mudaram-se para Joanesburgo, África do Sul, onde vivemos durante alguns anos. Voltei para Portugal em 1975. Licenciei-me em 1992 e fui para Itália onde vivi até 1995. Casei-se com um homem incrível e tenho duas filhas maravilhosas. Atualmente, moro em Aveiro, uma cidade muito bonita junto ao mar e ensino no Agrupamento de Escolas de Oliveirinha, Aveiro, Portugal.
Enquanto estudava no ensino secundário e depois na universidade, trabalhei como guia turística. Visitei muitas cidades e países. Os meus hobbies são viajar, fotografia, estar em contacto com a natureza - adoro trekking, andar na minha bicicleta, e caminhar ...
Aprendi a gostar muito de tecnologia há alguns anos atrás e a uso-a com frequência nas minhas aulas. Também me interessei muito por questões relacionadas com o meio ambiente. Tenho uma paixão por ensinar e esta plataforma ajuda-me muito a ser criativa.
