Brainstorming

As part of our initial brainstorming phase for the eTwinning project, we propose to engage children in a reflective and expressive activity centered around music. We will begin by initiating a discussion with the students to explore their personal relationship with music and how it influences their emotions and daily experiences.

We will ask the children a series of carefully formulated questions to encourage self-expression and emotional awareness. These questions may include:

  • Do you like listening to music?
  • What kind of music do you enjoy the most?
  • What is your favorite song, and why do you like it?
  • How does this song make you feel when you listening to it?
  • Does this song remind you a specific moment, person, or place?

Through this process, we aim to provide students with an opportunity to articulate their emotional connections to music, recognize the role it plays in their lives, and share their individual tastes with their peers. This activity not only fosters emotional literacy and communication skills, but also strengthens group cohesion and intercultural understanding as students will have the chance to exchange their favorite songs and musical traditions with classmates and partner schools from different countries.

To conclude, this phase will be carried out in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, where every child is encouraged to contribute and feel that their voice is heard and respected.
