This 5-day face-to-face course empowers educators and school staff with essential digital skills to promote responsible online behavior, create collaborative learning environments, and integrate AI into their daily tasks. Participants will explore digital citizenship, online safety, and the use of digital tools to enhance student engagement. Teachers will learn how to leverage AI, such as ChatGPT, for lesson planning and personalized learning, while staff members will discover AI applications for administrative efficiency. Through hands-on workshops and discussions, attendees will develop practical strategies to implement in their classrooms and offices, ensuring a safer, more innovative, and digitally inclusive learning environment.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course, participants will:
- Understand and apply digital citizenship principles to promote responsible online behavior.
- Identify and implement strategies for ensuring online safety in the classroom.

- Explore AI tools, such as ChatGPT, for lesson planning, student engagement, and personalized learning.

Methodology & assessment
Assessment is informal and based on participation, practical activities, and self-reflection. Throughout the course, attendees will develop digital safety plans, create collaborative learning activities, and test AI applications in their roles. On the final day, they will present an implementation plan demonstrating their understanding and application of course concepts. Constructive feedback from peers and facilitators will support skill development and readiness to integrate digital citizenship, collaboration, and AI into their work.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Participants will use a variety of materials, including presentation slides, case studies, and digital safety guidelines. Hands-on activities will involve collaborative platforms like Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and Padlet. AI tools such as ChatGPT and other EdTech applications will be explored for teaching and administrative tasks. Additional resources include online articles, video tutorials, and interactive simulations to support learning and real-world application.
Certification details
Upon successfully completing the course requirements, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate recognizes their proficiency in integrating AI into educational practices. Additionally, participants will be awarded a Europass Certificate, which provides a standard format recognized across Europe, detailing the skills and competencies gained through the course. This enhances professional mobility.

Course package content:
The course package includes only training fees. As a special addition, all participants are invited to a free walking classroom in Athens' historical center. Greek cuisine snacks, beverages, and coffee will be provided daily. However, accommodation, meals, and transport are not included in the course package and must be arranged individually by participants.
