Description

This training is designed to provide professional development and skills acquisition for educators and professionals who aim to integrate new digital technologies into their teaching methodologies.
Firstly, the participants are focused on methodological and didactic orientation for digital
learning, involving a deep dive into pedagogical implications and preparing lesson plans tailored to the learning environment's digital transformation.
Secondly, they are engaged in acquiring or improving skills to promote innovation in the classroom through the introduction of technology and digital resources. These cover a wide spectrum, from multimedia educational environments and virtual and augmented reality to robotics, web/mobile applications, 3D modelling, 3D printers, serious games, and gamification techniques.
In brief, the participants are enriched to gain expertise in extending the class borders and
integrating innovative technologies to foster social inclusion.

Learning objectives

1.Multimedia and Immersive Technologies: Explores multimedia learning environments and the use of 3D objects, Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR) in education, including practical application and 3D printing.

2. Computational Thinking and Coding: Focuses on developing computational thinking skills through both unplugged activities and coding exercises to support student cognitive development.

3. Educational Robotics: Introduces the principles and potential of educational robotics, exploring examples and digital environments for classroom applications.

4. Mobile Learning and Serious Games: Examines the use of mobile learning and serious games as teaching resources across different subjects.

5. Technology Integration and Learning Scenario Design: Teaches how to seamlessly integrate technology into lesson planning and develop effective technology-enhanced learning scenarios.

Methodology & assessment

Monitoring:
Before the mobility, the participant will fill out an online questionnaire prepared by the
hosting organisation to define the training needs.
During the training, the participant will be monitored through peer reviews, simulation,
completed tasks and projects, and consultations with the mentor/teaching staff at the
hosting organisation.
Evaluation Format:
It includes knowledge assessments during the training through quizzes, practical exercises, collaborative projects, active in-class participation and peer feedback sessions. The evaluation format measures participants' readiness to integrate digital teaching methodologies and tools effectively into the classroom.
Final Assessment
The participants are expected to design and produce a digital tool to be used in their
classrooms, and a multiple-choice test on the topics addressed is administered.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

This multimedia learning environment training course provides school staff and professionals with various materials, including guides, case studies, and practical examples, to effectively integrate technology into education. Participants will explore innovative tools such as digital workspaces, virtual labs, augmented and virtual reality, serious games, digital storytelling, 3D modelling, and robotics. These curated resources are designed to be accessible and actionable.

Certification details

The Hosting Organisation implements the recognition procedure for delivered and achieved training content.

Successfully overcame the evaluation procedure before, during, and at the end of the training, the participants will receive an attendance certificate including detailed information about the course, e.g. title, program, and schedule, by the hosting provider.
