Course Content:

  1. Fundamentals of Robot Technologies: Participants start by learning basic robotic concepts and the fundamental principles of robot technology.

  2. The ABCs of Coding: Introduction to fundamental coding concepts and algorithmic thinking, progressing from basic to more complex programming.

  3. Robot Programming Languages: Students learn commonly used robot programming languages and explore how to use these languages to accomplish simple robot tasks.

  4. Sensor and Actuator Usage: Participants learn how to use sensors and actuators to perceive and interact with their surroundings.

  5. Project-Based Learning: The course provides an environment for students to develop creative projects and find solutions to real-world problems.

Learning objectives

Understanding the value and importance of robotics and coding in the kindergarten through eighth-grade curriculum. Coding is the process of writing instructions that a robot or computer program can understand and then carry out. To Determine the task, we want to complete through a robot, design the code to make it happen, and then send it to the robot to view the outcome.
