Description
The Motivating Secondary Learners course is designed to assist educators who teach languages to secondary school learners. The course will provide an overview of the latest methodologies in teaching this age group, an opportunity to explore new materials and discuss how to make creativity a cornerstone of your teaching practice.
Learning objectives
Participants will explore effective methodologies in secondary education, fostering effective teamwork techniques in teenage classrooms, discovering innovative approaches to promote language production, and integrating creativity into lesson plans. These objectives aim to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. The mobility offers added value by facilitating the exchange of teaching practices among secondary education professionals. Participants engage in various activities, including tasks to stimulate analysis and discussion of teaching methods, reflective workshop sessions to integrate observations into their teaching, and opportunities to enhance their language skills through online resources. Cultural and heritage trips are also organized for participants to explore as part of a chaperoned group.
Methodology & assessment
You will work on some lesson materials personalized to your teaching context which will be presented at the end of the week.
