Cultural similarities are universal patterns or characteristics that are globally common to all societies. As communities interact with each other, common features and similarities between cultures increase. Geography is an important element that manages people's lives, especially in times when technology offers more limited opportunities. People living in the same geographical regions have similar cuisines, housing styles, and even languages. Today, with the increase in inter-communal communication, differences and similarities between cultures can also change. The intensification of intercultural communication such as trade and travel can affect the reactions to cultural differences. The peoples of all countries participate in the globally shaped media culture. It is undeniable that this has positive aspects, but as the world's material culture becomes similar, the expression-based culture (art, dress, and even social rules) does not seem to have the same effect.
