Media Literacy and Disinformation Hunters (Medya Okuryazarları ve Dezenformasyon Avcıları (MODA))

It is possible to define media literacy as a concept that includes critical thinking, questioning and research skills, which are among the 21st century skills. Although we are with the media every day, we do not know enough about its use, benefits, or harms. For this reason, media education is extremely important. With this project, we aim to raise individuals with media literacy skills who look suspiciously at the content offered by the media and do not accept the information presented to them as they are, who notice the differences, investigate, criticize and question. Correct understanding of the information presented through the media enables individuals to discover the distinction between the real world and the media world, and this is very important. Criticizing and questioning the information and resources obtained; We aim to increase the awareness of individuals against possible adversities and to make them a part of their daily lives.
