There is a lack of information about the European Union, citizens do no to know how EU works, which are its values and its history and how it affects their everyday life. This course offers teachers tools to improve the student’s knowledge about EU using creative and interactive tools and sharing the best practice in the field of law educational and youth participation to democratic process. Participants will learn about the opportunities offered by EU-funded programs and how to build EU-wide networks across borders in the field of education. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of educational tools concerning the European Union.
The course will address the following topics:
- the EU history and values;
- breaking down stereotypes about the EU;
- the EU main Institutions (Parliament, Commission, Council, EU Court of Justice);
- EU for You. EU opportunities for the youth;
- EU and its opportunities in the field of education.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Digital tools, videos and presentation will be the main tools used during the projects. All the materials will be share with the participants at the end of the course.
Certification details
Participants will receive with the Europass Mobility Certificate, together with a certificate of attendance.

The course will be based in Treviso, located in the north of Italy and near Venice. The price includes the expenses for the on site course.
