This course is for teachers who have become aware of the necessity to bring real-life situations/problems into their classrooms and teach their students how to deal with them and how to find solutions. Special attention will be paid to the development of transversal skills.

Day 1

  • PBL – Project and/or Problem Based Learning – covering the basics
  • Netiquette – covering the basics
  • European Dimension and Networking – good example sharing
  • Learning Portfolio for the Course – what it is and what should be included

 

Day 2

 

  • Digital Literacy – a vital part of PBL
  • Being a Team Player – cooperative learning onsite and virtually
  • My Learning Portfolio – daily input

 

Day 3

 

  • Gamification – a serious approach to learning

Day 4 

 

  • Assessment  – a holistic approach vs. analytic assessment
  • Creating rubrics – transparency in assessment

Day 5 

 

  • Encouraging active participation in the European education area – networking activities

  • Certification – awarding certificates

  • Learning outcomes – evaluation of the course and level of achieved learning outcomes
