Children, including those with special needs, played traditional games with joy and gained awareness through sharing and interaction. The project brought together schools from Romania, Portugal, and 8 schools from Turkey. It promoted inclusion, cultural exchange, and cooperation. Playing helped students socialize, respect differences, and have fun while learning valuable life skills.

The traditional children's games in our culture have encouraged our students to be physically active, supporting the development of their muscles and bones. These games have also helped special education students communicate with other children and contributed to their socialization. At the same time, playing games has helped students eliminate negative emotions such as sadness, anxiety, and anger. Our students had a fun time playing our traditional games with joy. The collaborative work we car.

WE PLAY TOO was a wonderful project in which students and teachers worked together, played together and learned together from each other!
It was a project in which each member fulfilled their tasks with responsibility.
Even though the project has ended, it will remain in our hearts through what we learned together, through our traditional games.

Participating in this Project was a development opportunity for my students, they played childhood games both from our country and from partner countries: Turkey, Portugal and Poland, they developed their digital and language skills, they discovered safety rules on the Internet but above all they realized that students are the same regardless of the country they come from.
And for us teachers it was a pleasure to participate in this wonderful project, to meet teachers from other countries, to play together with the students and to carry out valuable activities.
Thank you to all participants in the project and I hope for a future collaboration!

This project was my first eTwinning project and it was a very valuable experience. I collaborated with colleagues from Turkey, Portugal and Poland and enjoyed with my students various games specific to the participating countries, but all with a common denominator, namely the JOY that you find only when you are part of the game.
For my students it was a real gain and a great pleasure to actively participate in this project. They discovered the joy of childhood games, collaborated with partner colleagues from other countries and developed digital skills and language competences.
It was a special experience and I can only tell you to play because the game enriches your mind and soul! Congratulations dear partners!

The project successfully met its objectives by promoting social skills, inclusion, and cultural awareness through traditional games. Students showed visible progress in communication, teamwork, and digital abilities. The collaboration between partners was effective, and the final product – the digital game book – reflected the creativity and active involvement of all participants. Feedback collected through pre- and post-project questionnaires confirmed the positive impact on students' motivation and learning experience.

During the school year, students from the 3rd cycle of Special Education and secondary education were involved in the international eTwinning project “We Play Too”, developed in partnership with schools in Turkey, Poland and Romania.
Their active participation in the various phases of the project allowed the promotion of fundamental social skills, such as the spirit of mutual assistance, empathy and respect for diversity, through carefully planned and implemented group dynamics.
The “game days”, central moments of this initiative, proved to be particularly significant in promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits, contributing to the development of motor skills such as coordination, balance and mobility, in an environment that was both playful and motivating.
The integration of playful activities into the school context proved to be an effective strategy for creating a more dynamic, inclusive and collaborative learning environment. This project thus represented a valuable opportunity to reinforce the active participation of all students, promoting meaningful learning and a true spirit of educational inclusion.

Our project is valuable because it is for special students. As I see that special students' communication skills are increasing and they are socializing, I get excited about new projects. It is an honor for the families of special students to take part in international projects. We not only learned the traditional games of children from different countries, but also taught them our traditional games. In meetings and collaborative studies, our children communicated with each other, got to know each other and found common ground. We also carried the integration environments in the school to other countries.

It is a great feeling to see that special parts are developing by increasing their physical movements, thinking, decision-making skills. They have seen and tried to get to know different cultures with games from different countries. With the universality of the games, they were able to grasp the information of the games without much difficulty and with the help of games, they increased their communication skills and socialized.
