We will discover effective strategies for prompting AI models in order to augment creativity and innovation in the classroom. We will explore practical applications of Generative AI, ranging from transforming text into speech to creating captivating videos and images. We will showcase real-world examples that illustrate the potential of this technology. Additionally, we will cover the creation of interactive chatbots that enhance student engagement and facilitate learning.

About the speakers

Marco Neves

Marco Neves is an AI and digital education consultant, CEO of InteractIdeas, focusing on integrating digital technologies in education. He speaks on the impact of digital transformation and AI in education and society, advocating for adaptive educational systems. With experience since 2002 as a teacher trainer in digital education, he's involved in European technological innovation projects and partnerships. Marco is a Europeana Ambassador for the DSI-4 Project and holds certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, and Palo Alto. He's also part of the Scientix Project, Google Earth Outreach, and co-coordinates CoderDojo in Alcanede. His master's thesis examined the European eTwinning project's effect on Portuguese schools.

Arjana Blazic

Arjana Blazic is an experienced educator, teacher trainer, education technology consultant and course designer, based in Zagreb, Croatia.  She is an external expert at European Schoolnet, where she contributes to EU Code Week by developing teaching and learning resources that aim at scaling up innovative use of digital technologies in schools. Her interests focus on technology-enhanced teaching and learning, the use of AI in the classroom and the impact of digital technologies on teacher professional development.
