The “Drama Education for Young Learners” training course under the Erasmus+ program is designed to empower educators and teachers with the necessary skills, techniques, and understanding of drama-based approaches to enhance the learning experiences of young children in the early school education stage. The training course will utilize a hands-on and experiential learning approach. Participants will engage in drama workshops and exercises, experience drama-based activities from a student’s perspective, and reflect on the potential applications in their teaching practice. The course will also include discussions on theoretical foundations and the pedagogical benefits of drama education for young learners.
Learning objectives
- Understanding the role of drama in early childhood education: Participants will explore the significance of drama as an educational tool and its positive impact on young learners’ cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Introduction to drama techniques and activities: The course will introduce various drama techniques, such as role-playing, storytelling, improvisation, and creative play, that can be applied in the early childhood education setting.
- Integrating drama into the curriculum: Participants will learn how to integrate drama activities into different subjects, fostering a creative and engaging learning environment.

Certification details
Certificates will be delivered in hard copy format and will include information about the course title, participant name, organization name (host and sender), duration, number of training hours, and the main topics covered in the course. The certificates are signed both by the administrator of the host organisation and by the trainer.
