Resilience of education systems: what lessons can be learned from Ukraine?

This report looks into the main determinants that have contributed to the recovery and reinforcement of schools in Ukraine since the start of the war. It is based on a review of published research evidence, focus groups carried out with the parents of children in the EU and Ukraine, and interviews with school heads and teachers in Ukraine.
The report shows several factors that have contributed to this educational resilience, such as the roles of teachers, school leadership and ICT in teaching.
