Parental involvement and engagement have immediate and long-term effects for children’s learning, development, achievement, and how much they enjoy school.

In this report, the structure of Process-Person-Context-Time (PPCT) is used to look at engagement through a bioecological lens, to highlight important issues in parental involvement, engagement, and partnership in their children’s education.

It includes discussions about homework, school-based support systems, and effective strategies for students who need extra support, including those with special educational, economic, or language-related needs.
