‘eTwinning for Future Teachers’ European Award 2023, Nominated Initial Teacher Education Institutions

We are thrilled to announce the nominees for the ‘eTwinning for Future Teachers’ European award 2023 for initial teacher education. A celebration of excellence in the field of Initial Teacher Education (ITE), this award recognises and honours institutions that have demonstrated outstanding contributions in the context of ‘eTwinning for future teachers’.

After a rigorous evaluation process, the following institutions, ordered alphabetically by country, have been nominated for the ‘eTwinning for Future Teachers’ European award 2023 for initial teacher education:

  • Barleti University, Albania
  • Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen, Bulgaria
  • The Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb, Croatia
  • INSPE Amiens, France
  • Professional School of Education (PSE) Stuttgart-Ludwigsburg, Germany
  • Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy
  • Klaipėda University, Lithuania
  • Faculty of Biology AMU Poznań, Poland
  • University of Žilina, Slovakia
  • Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, Spain

 

These institutions have exemplified a commitment to curriculum integration, project implementation and research on eTwinning, as well as an unwavering dedication to preparing the next generation of eTwinning teachers. The European award is a testament to the efforts of these institutions in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for future teachers and equipping them with the necessary competences.

The grand winner of the European award will be unveiled during the awards ceremony on the first day of the European online conference for Initial Teacher Education ‘eTwinning for Future Teachers:  Connecting, Mentoring, Innovating’ which will take place from 29 November – 1 December. The conference promises to be a momentous occasion, uniting teacher educators, experts, academics and student teachers to share insights, good practices and experiences for the future of teacher education.
