Soulful Bonds

Life is made up of various cycles. Sometimes due to negative events on a global scale, such as the pandemic, and sometimes due to difficulties in our own individual lives, we can become withdrawn and despair. Regardless of our age, we may experience feelings of hopelessness and loneliness. However, after every difficult period comes ease, and it is the hope and joy we carry within us that makes life meaningful. Knowing that we are not alone gives us extra strength. While adults may be more skillful in coping with adversity and knowing that they are not alone, we believe that these skills of children should be supported more in educational environments. Although geographies are different, emotions such as love, hope and joy are universal. We aim for our students to share these positive emotions with their friends across borders, improve their communication skills and use their foreign language competencies effectively. Our aim is to support children's cognitive, language-communication, social and emotional development by supporting their imagination, creativity and better understanding of their own and others' emotions. This project will allow children to develop their imagination and psychological resilience and nourish their souls by immersing themselves in different worlds. By the help of our project, pupils will socialize by better understanding of themselves and others. Our work also aspires children for 21st century knowledge and skills (cooperation, communication, critical thought, creativity), mind skills (routine thinking) and technology skills. Moreover, we will be able to support students for using foreign language skills, emotional intelligence, naturalistic intelligence, communicative skills, digital competence, problem-solving skills and social acceptance.
