Eurofilm Factory

A group of students work on the topic of cinema. The aim is to write a guide with tips to make a film and to use those tips to make their own film in groups. For the warming up stage, the students learn some vocabulary about cinema in general, they search the net to find information about their favourite films and they have to write their own film reviews. On a second stage, they work together (two Spanish students and Two Lithuanians) to find information related to film-making about a specific topic such as light, sound, script, etc. We’ll gather all tips to make a film-making guide to help other secondary students who want to make films. Finally, they’ll put it into practice. They will form groups in their own class write a script –either from an invented story, or from a book they have read- and they will eventually make a film. At the end of the course, there will be a competition where all the films will be contestants. Students and teachers will vote the best one and there will be a prize.
