The foundation of this project is “Europe-to-Be“ which stands for 'students creating their Europe of the future' by working on the big question of the moment is how do we help our students create their Europe of the future. There is no conformity in being European. Our objective is to find the common links with our fellow countries which allow us to wear the badge of European. We do this firstly through language. The greater the linguistic skills of our youths, the better communications we can guarantee internationally in the future. This is why inter-school relations are a fundamental tool in a successful European future. Our students must not only be proud for being part of their country,they should also be proud of themselves for being European. We are not like America, not one big country. We are a compilation of nations choosing to work together. What better way can we live this rationale other than communicating with peers from fellow European countries? On which similarities can we already base a better understanding? Which differences need to be understood to improve our vision of the others? Can European youths design their future working environment and living conditions? What are the visions of 2025 and can we agree on a common basis? We seek to promote the use of ICT for solving tasks to develop ways for the students for building their own knowledge and communication in Europe, for researching as well as a critic and thoughtful use of technology with the guidance and help of their teachers. At the end of the project, students will compile materials for visitors, hold conferences, and prepare presentations on their results, via the products web page, term papers, exhibitions, a calendar, a glogster, an interactive CD, a classic board game and a T-shirt.
