
FROM ZERO TO HERO – FROM NARRATION TO PRESENTATION – WRITTEN WORK BASED APPROACH TO THEATRE 7 DAYS
This course is aimed at anyone who is working with theatre groups. Participants will be introduced to all stages of creative process needed to stage a performance; from pre-preparation to dealing with stage fright. To put it simply and lightly: a teacher/mentor wants to stage a play/performance. In this course they will learn HOW TO DO IT! Info and registrations @ info@pricalica.org.
Description
The course consists of 35 didactic hours and includes the following moduels:
- Introduction. Participants introduce the folktales they have prepared. Warm up and ice breaking exercises.
- Theatre forms. Exercises from different theatre approaches: physical theatre, improvisation, puppetry, performance etc.
- Text analysis tools. Exploring basic dramaturgy on concrete examples, defining text/subtext/context.
- Relationships. Actor/audience, actor/director, actor/actor, actor/character, character/character.
- Let’s play! Basic acting and scene developing exercises, 1/2
- First scene. Applying knowledge into action. Working on a scene.
- Let's play! Developement of the scenes, playing with the material, editing, 2/2
- Bridges. Exploring comparing and analysing the content of newly developed interpretation of folktales. Finding fil rouge and developing bridges between scenes.
- Practice makes perfect. Team and individual work on developing and broadening the scenes.

Methodology & assessment

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate complies with the guidelines of the Erasmus+ programme and includes the topic, number of didactic hours, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants. In case. a participant requires a speciffic format of certificate we can accommodate that if requested at least one week before the start of the course.
