eTwinning Day 2022 and eTwinning Annual Group

The week of celebrations for the 17th eTwinning Day starts today!

In line with the eTwinning annual theme and the spirit of the New European Bauhaus initiative, the eTwinning Day 2022 activities will encourage teachers and students to re-think the way they teach, learn, and ‘live’ together at school. eTwinners and their pupils can reflect together on the aspects of their schools they like the most. In addition, they can think of the elements they would like to change or add to create an enriching learning space which is in harmony with the environment and encourages inclusion and togetherness.

Draw your dream school: beautiful, sustainable, together

Teachers are invited to foster their students’ creativity by asking them to draw, take pictures, create mock-ups, design posters about their dream schools. All students of any age can participate: young pupils can draw or make a collage, older students can use online tools to create posters or digital mock-ups.

From today until 9 May, eTwinners can take part in the activity and share on Twitter and Facebook the pictures of the dream schools designed by their students using the hashtags #eTwinningDay and #eTw4Future. Throughout the week, teachers and pupils can check the eTwinning Twitter and Facebook profiles and the hashtags to take inspiration from others’ drawings and pictures.

To mark eTwinning day and to help teachers deploy the theme of the year, some activities will be organised in a new eTwinning Featured Group. This Group is named after the annual theme: ‘Our Future Beautiful, Sustainable, Together: Schools and the New European Bauhaus‘. It has been opened to be a central point of information on the activities related to the theme of the year 2022. It will include guides, online events and campaigns that will be organised throughout the year.

Join the Group, create your dream school, and celebrate eTwinning day with us on social media!
