Erasmus+ for schools: Your path to KA1 & KA2 success

Whether your school is just getting started or already has some experience with Erasmus+, the course offers clear, practical guidance for planning and implementing projects under Key Action 1 (learning mobility of individuals) and Key Action 2 (cooperation partnerships).

Description

You will learn how to design projects that are realistic, meaningful, and aligned with your school’s needs and priorities, while also contributing to wider European Union goals such as inclusion, sustainability, and digital transformation.

By the end of the course, you’ll have developed a tailored KA1 or KA2 project idea and feel confident taking the next steps.

Learning objectives

  • Understand the structure of Erasmus+ and the types of activities schools can participate in.
  • Identify school needs and translate them into realistic and meaningful KA1 or KA2 project ideas.
  • Learn how to plan mobility and cooperation activities, build partnerships, and prepare strong applications.
  • Explore practical tools and platforms to support project design, implementation, and sharing.
  • Gain confidence in managing Erasmus+ projects, including participant preparation and fair selection.
  • Develop a tailored project plan aligned with your school’s context and priorities. 

Methodology & assessment

The course is offered as an asynchronous course with flexibility in regard to when and where participants follow the course content and join the course activities. Modules open each week and remain open for the duration of the course, with a final deadline in place for the submission of a course product. Participants are required to actively contribute to the course activities by sharing their work and submitting a course product. This product is submitted, and peer assessed by three peers in the final module of the course. 

Certification details

Upon successful completion of the course, a digital course certificate is awarded. The certificate shows the name of the learner and key course details such as the estimated learning hours, the learning objectives, and a link to the course homepage.
