Sustainability for EU and ME

This is year-long eTwinning project where several high-schools from Europe work together towards a more sustainable Europe. Students learn about sustainability and why it is important for their local community as well as on an EU level. Students learn about the local natural, cultural and linguistic heritage of all participating countries/local communities. Students learn about how they themselves can be active in their communities and contribute to a more sustainable EU. Students communicate in English, which is their foreign language and improve their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. Activities are on a monthly basis.

Clean-up drive for World Environment Day

Students of Gimnazija "Matija Mesić" in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, organized a clean-up drive today. They picked up trash on their school grounds and in a town park.

Many curious passers-by wanted to know what they were doing and commended them on their efforts once they were explained.

Hopefully, some of them get inspired to carry out similar activities themselves because only through mutual efforts can we protect our environment. :)

9 may - eTwinning Day - Colegiul Tehnic Emanui Ungureanu, Timișoara

In this ongoing journey of ours through the universe of European education, we celebrated eTwinning Day! 🌐
We spoke to our students about the importance and benefits of eTwinning projects in extracurricular activities, highlighting how they can turn learning into an interactive and engaging experience.
We briefly presented the eTwinning projects carried out in our school in the school year 2023-2024, illustrating how online collaboration with other schools in Europe brought innovation and diversity to our educational process.
Then, I challenged the students to color the letters that form the word "eTwinning" and associate them with terms in Romanian or English that match the eTwinning projects and start with that letter. Their creativity and imagination were at their highest!
Their works, along with project posters, were displayed in the school's corridors, bringing a splash of color and inspiration to every corner. Thus, our journey through the world of eTwinning continues to connect and inspire us!
