To begin with, we have a great responsibility to take care of where we live. There is only one planet Earth and we must work much harder to look after it – there is no planet B that we can go to if we wreck this one. We need to protect and preserve it not only for our own use, but for the generations that follow us, too. 

„The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery teaches us the importance of taking responsibility for our actions and decisions. The Little prince learns this lesson from his responsibility towards the rose he has tamed on his home planet. 

Dear students, starting from the book "The Little Prince", within the activity hosted by Lithuania, "Let's take care of the earth", we invite you to look around how beautiful our Earth is, to explore the problems it faces, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, global warming, deforestation, pollution, etc, and think about the actions to protect and restore our planet. Let’s be the little princes taking care of our planet Earth.
