EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT - EVERYONE IS UNIQUE!
On April 2, World Autism Awareness Month began.
The main aim is to disseminate information about the problems of people with autism and give the opportunity to express solidarity with people with autism. As part of the celebration, various activities are organized to promote acceptance, tolerance and empathy towards people with autism.
Therefore, the teachers of the Zespół Placówek Edukacyjnych – Stowarzyszenie Wyjątkowe Serce, implementing the Art Therapy for Autism -Erasmus plus project, decided to join the campaign to promote knowledge about autism. The idea was born to record a short spot in which the interests and desires of people with autism as well as the problems they have to deal with, were shown. The video aims to make people aware of how much we have in common with people with autism spectrum disorders. The sentences that appear in subsequent scenes express what these people feel in various situations. Our student gave life to the sentences that appear in the next installments of the spot, in the form of drawings, our irreplaceable and unique student of the XV High School - Michał Kołodziejczyk, who joined the activities with great commitment. In a masterful way, in the form of simple and at the same time very legible drawings, he showed us how people with autism perceive the surrounding world. Michał also lent his voice in the recording.
We invite you to watch it.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the creation of the spot.
