WELCOME TO THE PROJECT
WELCOME!
Comp@ss is an eTwinning multidisciplinary project aimed at secondary school students. The aim of the project is to bring students together so that they can develop the key competences and a positive attitude towards the world, their own present wellbeing and the future. The Comp@ss of the title presents the ideas we wish to focus on: Comp - stands for competences including the communication skill, @- refers to the digital and technology-based competences and p@ss - succeeding in all of them. Thus, the project will start with the following driving question: ‘Which way should I choose to succeed in life as an individual and citizen?’ We hope our ‘Comp@ss rose’ will guide students on the four main directions representing the following issues: S-sustainability/ society/ SID 2023, E- emotions/ economy, N - nature/ netizenship and W -wellbeing in/of the world and our common international European journey will be a pleasurable experience that will ‘hide’ the learning in the process.
The project aims to develop the eight key competences needed for a personal wellbeing, sustainable lifestyle, active citizenship and responsible netizenship:
- Literacy - identifying and understanding emotions, expressing feelings, facts and opinions, communicating in the oral and written forms
- Multilingualism - developing communication skills in English, learning pieces in partners’ languages
- Numerical, scientific and engineering skills - becoming familiar with STEAM and taking part in EU Code Week; solving everyday problems
- Digital and technology-based competences - using ICT tools responsibly and purposefully for learning, collaborating and fun
- Interpersonal skills, and the ability to adopt new competences - developing relations with peers, working creatively with others
- Active citizenship - participating in social life, understating the idea of sustainability, European integration
- Entrepreneurship - developing creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively
- Cultural awareness and expression - developing the knowledge of local, regional, national, European and global cultures including languages, traditions and heritage.
